This is a very interesting piece. One of the tremendously distinctive antique clocks I’ve listened, the only one of this type I’ve come across.

For starters the clock is in full working purchase, chimes even when I carry it around. It is made with heavy cast iron with abalone shell accents.

The lens is broken as shown in the pics, which is the only issue with the piece. Has vintage patina appropriate for the age and year.

Label on inner interior notes west Meriden ct made. Ideal for a collector or enthusiast.
