Approximately 1 high when closed.Largest chess piece (king) is approximately 1.5 x 0.5 x 0.5. Checkers are approximately 0.5 x 0.5 x 0.16. Due to production process, colors CAN vary slightly, as these are produced one at a time in my studio in Texas, not mass produced. Material: PLA plastic, which is a plant-based plastic. Do not expose to high heat. Use indoors if you are in a climate that gets hot; for best results do not store in car.
